New Party Ready

(New Zealand Press Association)

NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 28. A party of 13 experienced Wellington mountaineers, including three women, will leave the Chateau at 4 a.m. tomorrow to join the search. The Tongariro National Park Board’s chief ranger. Mr J. W. Mazey, said tonight the party would leave at first light regardless of weather and later

would make their own decision whether conditions were good enough to continue.

Search authorities called on the party, all of whom are members of the Federated Mountain Clubs, this morning and they were rushed to the mountain in three police cars which arrived at 7 p.m.
