Obituary MR F. C. MOIR

I Mr Frederick Charles Moir, [who died in Christchurch recently was born at Lyttelton and lived there ail his life. He was 74. Educated at the Lyttelton Main School. Mr Moir began work in. the carrying business at the age of 13 and eventually went into business on his own. He retired about 10 years ago. Mr Moir was a member of the Foresters’ Lodge and the Lyttelton Club. One of his ! main interests was Rugby football. [ He is survived by two marIried daughters and two marIried sons.

Hospital Fire.—A villa at Sunnyside Hospital was evacuated at 10.10 p.m. on Sunday night when fire broke out in one of the cupboards. The automatic sprinkler system put out the fire before firemen with three engines arrived.
