X.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, Dec. 27.

A gift to C.0.R.5.0. of £1125 from the New Zealand Master Grocers’ Federation has lifted the record national contribution to the 1965 Freedom From Hunger Campaign to £350,387. “This is almost £50.000; above last year’s figure for the same period and four days, have still to run before the campaign for 1965 closes,’’: a C.0.R.5.0. headquarters spokesman said today. The grocers' gift was raised, he said, from the federation’s “milk for millions" scheme. '
