Killed By Shock
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREL Dec. 22. A man was killed in Porowini avenue, Whangarei, at 12.50 p.m. today when the wire rope of a crane touched an overhead power line. He was: Lance Kelly Perkinson, of 28 Raurimu avenue, Onerahi. Mr Perkinson was handling a steel cradle attached to the end of the crane’s line when the accident occurred. Attempts at resuscitation on the site, on the way to hospital and at the hospital failed.
