Testing for driving licences will not be undertaken until January 21, 1966. The Springston Office will be closed until Friday, January 21, 1966, on which date applicants may undergo Driving Tests. W. Lecston, 21/12/65. 7058 PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL FIRE RESTRICTIONS FIRE RESTRICTIONS PURSUANT to Section 20 of the Forest and Rural Fire Act. 1955, the lighting of fires in the open throughout that area of the Paparua County Included in the Selwyn Fire Group is prohibited except during the hours between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. as from Thursday. December 23. Written permits to burn dur Ing the hours 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. are not required but verbal permission for the lighting of ares must be obtained from the Area Warden. Such permission does not relieve the person lighting the fire from full responsibility for keeping the fire under control.
