Electricity
Total generation of etectricity for public supply in 196666 wan 8.4 per cent higher than the previous year. Of this increase, North Island stations contributed 7f per cent (600 m kilowatts) and South Island stallions 21 per cent (155 m kilowatts). These figures have been compiled by the New Zealand Electricity Department, and published in the Abstract of Statistics.
