N.Z. Will Protest On Tests Again

fNrw Ireland Press Association; WELLINGTON. Dec. 21. New Zealand will again approach other Pacific countries in a protest move against French nuclear testing in the Pacific.

Hie Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said be welcomed the support of the Federation of Labour in opposing French nuclear testing in the Pacific. The statement came after a meeting with a six-man federation deputation led by the preaident, Mr T. L. Skinner. New Zealand, said Mr Holyoake, had previously., sought support from other countries to join in a protest at the United Nations, but would again approach other Pacific countries in an effort to reexamine the possibility of gaining wider support than previously for a New Zea-land-led protest in the United Nations. Mr Holyoake said that in general the Government agreed with the terms of the

protest resoiutioo carried by the South Pacific trade union conference in Sydney recently and conveyed to him today.
