ATTACK ON GIRL

Assailant Unknown (N.Z. Preu Auoeiatlon) WELLINGTON, Dec. 20. An 18-year-old girt was attacked earty this morning by an unknown assailant while asleep to her Lower Hutt home. She suffered bead bruises and nose lacerations. According to police taformatton, a man entered the house through a partly-open window at 12.45 p.m H made his way to a bedroom and attacked the girl, who was alone in the house at the time. He hit her several times on the head with a wooden bowl taken from inside the house. The girt told police she struggled and bit his hand. When she got out of bed, she was knocked to the ground. The man is said to have made off out the front door.
