Unpublished Works (N.Z.P.A.-neuter—Copyright/ NEW YORK Dec. 20. W. Somerset Maugham had ; instructed his unpublished works were not to be printed after his death, according to 1 his literary executor, Mr Alex- : ander S. Frere. The writer died last week 1 in Nice, France, at tbp age 'of 91. His death brought ■ tributes from writers all over i the world. Mr Frere reported during a recent visit to New York that the author himself held a “hotocMut* ’of his notebooks and unfinished works , about five years ago at his Mediterranean home, the VHia Mauresque. As president of William Heinemann, Ltd, Mr Frere was Mr Maughamt English PMbteber until IBC. they also were done frireds. .
