£345 Sent To , Government (N.Z. Preet Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. New Zealanders with money on their conscience have returned a total of £345 .to Government departments at various times during the last year. A Treasury spokesman said this morning that most of the money had been posted in sums of between £l5O and £5 in envelopes marked “conscience money.” According to a notice gazetted by the Treasury today, the Inland Revenue Department received £230 in four sums of £l5O, £lO, £6O, and £lO. The Forest Service received £5, the Post Office a single sum of £lOO and the Transport Department £lO.
