Dose Of Dope
Titles conferred by the new Education Act are not the happiest when abbreviated, says the teachers’ journal, “National Education.” The chief inspector of primary schools becomes Director of Primary Education (Dope), and there is also a Dose (Director of Secondary Education) and a Dote (Director of Technical Education).—
