The biggest Royal Navy task force to visit Australia since World War II reached Sydney today.

The fleet of four warships and three auxiliary vessels with 1600 officers and men aboard, is in Sydney on an eight-day visit. The ships, including the latest Royal Navy guided missile destroyer, H.M.S. Devonshire, have been taking part in “Exercise Warrior” in the Coral Sea.

Ships of the Royal Navy, the Royal Australian Navy and the United States Navy took part in the large-scale exercise, which finished on Wednesday.
