BOY’S DEATH

Run Over By Bus (N.Z. Press Association) WAIROA, Nov. 1. A 10-y ear-old boy died this afternoon when he was run over by a bus at Frasertown, five miles from Wairoa. The name of the child is being withheld until his mother has been notified She is believed to be a member of a shearing gang in the central Hawke’s Bay district The accident occurred abou! 12.20 p.m. Mr James Tuahine an employee of Kiwi Transport, Ltd., of Frasertown, was backing the bus in a side street. It is thought the boy had climbed on to the tray of the rear luggage compartment and had fallen off The driver felt a bump and found the child on the ground. A doctor was called from Wairoa, but the child had died from severe head injuries. Woman Killed A woman died about 8.15 this morning when her car plunged into the harbour at Blanket Bay, near Dunedin. She was: Dorothy May Molloy, aged 36. married, with three children, of 40 District road. Roseneath. The car overturned in k about sft of water.
