SATURDAY (Before Messrs T. W. Smith and T. T. Mettrick, Justices of the Peace) REMANDED Three young men were remanded on bail to today on charges after an incident in Cathedral square on Friday evening. Colin Tahi, aged 19, a labourer, was charged with resisting Constable J. C. Carter, using obscene language, and obstructing the footpath Richard Keith Young, aged 22, a rubber worker, was charged with behaving in a disorderly manner, and Allan Edward Faass, aged 22, a stock cutter, was charged with using insulting language. John Elwin Hall, aged 20, a driver, was remanded on bail to November 4 on a charge of obscene exposure. Colin William Nicholl, aged 36, a warehouseman, was remanded on bail to today on a charge of obtaining credit by fraud.

William Ross, aged 48, unemployed, was remanded on bail to November 4 on a charge of unlawfully tailing a car, valued at £lOO, the property of Bernard Hudson. Bernard Watts, aged 47, unemployed, was remanded on bail to November 4 on a charge of stealing £lO, the property of Edward James Smith, on October 14.
