TAP DANCING RESULTS
High Standard ' Praised
Tb. Christchurch Tap Dancing Association held competitions during the week-end. The judge, Miss L. Day, praised the high standard of dancing. Results were:— Novice.—Under eight: Jocelyn Cooke 1, Keryn McKibben 2. Sandra Leen 3. Eight and under 10: Christine Sunbeam 1, Lyn Bromley 2, Gail Newell 3. Ten and over: Lois Neilson 1, Julie Downing 2, Gloria Grieve 3. Tap Solo.—Eight and under 10: Brenda Park 1, Judith Leen 2, Mirianne Jemmett 3. Twelve and over: Betina Bradley 1, Christine McQueen 2, Fay Mclntosh and Gavin Douglas (equal) 3. Song And Dance Solo.—Under eight: Glenys Vine 1, Anne Paterson 2, Peter Fitzgerald 3. Ten and under 12: Michael O'Connor 1, Brenda Price 2, Julie Downing 3. Twelve and over: Betina Bradley 1, Gavin Douglas 2, Fay Mclntosh and Christine McQueen (equal) 3. Tap Duo.—Carol Ayres and Gavin Douglas 1, Lesley Thomson and Lauralne Clements 2, Karen Wlntrup and Yvonne Chamberlain 3.
