Appeal By Oil Firm

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 20. Europa Oil (N.Z.), Ltd., today gave notice of its intention to appeal to the Supreme Court against a conviction in the Hawera Magistrate’s Court, on a charge of unlawfully offering a reward to a garage proprietor for sole reselling rights. The company was fined £2OO by Mr A. VV. Yortt, S.M., on October 5 for offering Brian Wilfred Sowman and Marganne Gay Sowman a reward of £2OOO upon condition that they purchase motor spirits exclusively from the company.
