DAMAGE FEARED

(N.Z. Press Association)

WHANGAREI, Oct. 17.

Because of the activities of non-club motorcyclists the Whangarei Motor-cycle Club now has nowhere to hold its grass track miniature T.T., sponsored by the Whangarei Jaycees and various local business Anns. This statement was made today by the Northland district steward of the Auto Cycle Union (Mr B. Pullman). The club had permis-

sion to hold the meeting on a Tikipunga property. It has about £lOO in prize money and entries from throughout New Zealand were being made for the competition on Sunday, November 7.

The owners of the property, Beazley Homes, had withdrawn permission because they were afraid that the irresponsibles who might attend the meeting as spectators could damage valuable equipment and materials, Mr Pullman said.
