NO TRACE OF BODY

(N.Z. Press association) TIMARU, October 17. An exhaustive search of Lake Benmore at the weekend failed to yield any trace of the body of an Oamaru man, one of two drowning victims in a boating mishap a week ago. He was lan Robertson Curie, aged 47, married, of Humber street, Oamaru. The body of his companion. Tute Horonga Maaka, 33. of Rotorua, was recovered from the lake last Monday. The men were drowned the night before when their 13 foot open boat was swamped. The search will continue tomorrow morning.
