Wants Tobacco Acreage Cut
(N Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BLANTYRE (Malawi), Oct. 12 Malawi’s Premier, Dr. Hastings Banda, has broadcast an appeal to African farmers to curtail tobacco acreage this year. His appeal is an all-out bid to safeguard the country’s £4 million tobacco industry, being threatened by over-pro-duction.
