Mr A. C. Penny, formerly assistant manager of the Christchurch branch of the Royal Exchange and Atlas Assurance group of companies, has been appointed manager. He replaces Mr E. G. B. McGrath who has retired. Mr J. D. I. Sherwin, who has been manager of the Lyttelton branch of the Bank of New Zealand since 1958, has been appointed manager at Browns Bay, Auckland. Mr A. J. C. Herrick, accountant at Upper Hutt,, will succeed Mr Sherwin at Lyttelton.
Tekau Preference. Tekau Knitwear. Timaru knitwear makers, has told the Stock Exchange that It wilt pay 5 per cent dividend on its cumulative preference shares on October 28; ex dividend October 22. (P.A.)
