Woolmark Licence Issued
A woolmark licence has been issued by the Wool Board to Overseas Carpets (N.Z.), Ltd., the Christ-church-based manufacturer of Axminster carpets. It is one of the first woolmark licences in the world to be issued far this type of carpeting. The woolmark specifications ensure a high standard of quality. Overseas Carpets was formed in 1959 in association with four of the biggest British carpet companies—Thomkinson’s, Ltd., William C. Gray and Sons, Ltd., Axminster Carpets, Ltd., and Woodward-Grosvenor, Ltd.
