(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 14. A young woman was killed when she was struck by a car in Wellesley street near Elliott street, last night. She was; Miss Elizabeth Maria Topia, aged 20, of Wood street, j Ponsonby. Died In Ambulance An elderly man, who was struck by a car in Wellington late last night, died in the ambulance taking him to hospital. He was: Mr N. G. J. Haggland. aged 80, a widower, and retired seaman.
