Cable-Laying Operation
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 14. The Post Office will use a jetting operation for the second time in New Zealand next month when it lays a 10,000 ft cable across Shoal Bay from the Harbour Bridge toll plaza to Ngataringa Bay. The 3in cable will be the largest to be laid by the Post Office for 12 years, and will be buried three to four feet in the mud.
