Two Hurt On Roads
Lynette Gardner, of Stonyhurst, Motunau, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital on Thursday evening with head and arm injuries suffered when she was hit by a car at Motunau.
Her condition last evening was fairly satisfactory. Barry Jones, of 64 Aidershot street, suffered a compound fracture of a leg and nose injuries when his powercycle and a car collided at the corner of Hereford street and Stanmore road about 4.45 p.m.
He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital and operated on.
