STRUCK BY CAR

Man Dies Of Injuries (N Z. Press Association) GORE, Sept. 2. A man died in the Gore Public Hospital about 9 o’clock last night from head injuries suffered when he was struck by a car on the main highway about three miles north of Gore. He was: Charles Patrick Chandler, married, of Ballast road. McNab. The accident occurred about 6 p.m. Mr Chandler had just alighted from a bus and was crossing the road when the accident occurred. The occupants of the car, William lan Gordon, aged 30, of Ryal Bush, and his small son, suffered slight injuries.
