Service Club Post (N.Z. Press Association > DUNEDIN, August 31. A Christchurch man, Mr Nigel Bowron, aged 38, has been elected secretary-trea-surer of the World Council of Young Men's Service Clubs at the council’s annual conference in Turku, Finland. “We consider this a great honour,” said Mr R. 11. Daniels, president of the Round Table of New Zealand, in Dunedin today. “New Zealand, with a membership of 500, is one of the smallest associations in the world council, which has a total membership of 70,000.”

Mr Bowron has been a member of the Christchurch Round Table since 1954. He became chairman of the Christchurch Round Table No. 1 in 1956, and was chairman of the National Council from its inception in 1958 until it was replaced in 1960.
