Mr Lake To Attend (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 25. The Minister of Finance (Mr Lake) will represent the Government at the meeting of the Commonwealth Economic Consultative Council in Kingston, Jamaica, on September 22 and 23 The council consists of the finance ministers of the Commonwealth. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said it was expected the talks would cover world economic trends, including balance of payment prospects for the sterling area.

Mr Lake would also attend meetings of the International Monetary Fund and International Bank of Reconstruction and Development in Washington, and would later visit London.
