Trueman To Stay
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LEEDS, August 13. The England fast bowler, F. S. Trueman, suspended by the Yorkshire County Cricket Club committee on Thursday for disobeying his captain’s instructions, said he would stay with Yorkshire. He had no intention of playing in League cricket. After a 30-minute meeting with the Yorkshire president (Sir William Worsley) Trueman said: “We have had a very friendly talk and everything has been settled. I am happy that is so. “I shall stay with Yorkshire, and after four days off I shall join the team against Essex on Wednesday.
