DUNEDIN, August 15. The national track pursuit champion, B. Yaxley, of Christchurch, outsprinted a large group at Outram on Saturday to win the New Zealand senior 50-mile cash road cycling championship. R. Hartill, of Greymouth, took the junior title from A. McMeeken (Dunedin). Results: 50-Mile Road Championship.— Senior: B. Yaxley (Christchurch), 2hr 12min 35sec, 1; C. McNaught (Otago), 2:12:34.2, 2; T. Hartill (West Coast), 2:12:35.6, 3.
