TRIAL OF ARCHITECT
Jury Fails To Agree (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 13. After a retirement of six hours, a jury in the Supreme [Court at Wellington failed to reach a verdict in the trial lof Selwyn Peter Bussell, aged [3B, the assistant architect to the Wellington Education Board. Bussell faced seven counts of alleged breaches of ihe Secret Commission Act. 1910, in the course of his employ[ment. On the application of the [Crown prosecutor, Mr W. R. Birks. Mr Justice Tompkins ordered a new trial at the next sessions of the Court. Bussell, who was represented by Mr W. V. Gazley, was allowed bail.
