Invercargill Wool Sells Well

Ihe limited supply of now season's pre-lainb-shorn fleece—the first of its type ottered this season commanded keen competition and realised satisfactory- prices at the first Invercargill wool sale of the l!M»5-t>fi season held today, according to the official report.

The report quotes the market for crutchings as being in sellers’ favour for the better types and very firm for poor average to inferior descriptions. Old fleece and shears were generally on a par with comparable wools offered in recent North Island sales. The sale totalled 9748 bales
