PIGTAILS ARE IN
Scraggy little pigtails with paintbrush ends were attached to short hair-dos by models in Guy Laroche’s recent Paris collection. For evening the pigtails start on the crown of the head in a flurry of bow loops and remain flat against the head to the nape of the neck. The pigtails were part of Laroche’s “Young Line” which borrowed baby bonnets and plenty of bows from the nursery. They were teamed with slender straight dresses, his hallmark for 1965.
