(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE. August 11. Mrs A. J. Lahmert holed her tee shot at the 110-yard twentieth to beat the title-holder. Mrs G. J. O. Booth, in the second round of the Poverty Bay women’s open golf championship today. But Mrs Booth's daughter, Heather, won her match, by 10 and 8, against Mrs E. Hansen.
