In a fast moving, open match the visiting Pacific South-west women’s hockey team was beaten by Otago, 3-1, in Dunedin today. Otago could be considered a little lucky to win. The scores were level for a long period but two quick goals in the late stages clinched the decision for Otago. ■ The Americans were keen |to show that their heavy loss 'against Canterbury was not a true indication of their capaIbilities.
