Mother Loses To Daughter
(N Z. Press Association} GISBORNE, August 10 The 20-year-old inter national. Miss H. Booth, with a six-over-par 78, topped the qualifiers in the Poverty Bay Women’s open golf championships, which began at the Awapuni Links today. The defending title-holder is her mother, Mr G. J. O. Booth, who tied for second with Miss M. Haisman. also of Poverty Bay, on 82.
