96 Octane Petrol
(N.Z. Prefs Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 5. The octane rating for premium grade petrol has been increased from 93 to 96 under regulations Gazetted today. All premium grade petrol was raised to 96 rating when the Marsden Point refinery opened. Nation-wide distribution of the 96 octane was completed about a month ago.
