Church Members Attend Group Life Laboratory
Twenty-two representatives of major churches affiliated to the National Council of Churches in New Zealand have assembled at Tyndale House this week for a group life laboratory. Their aim is to study life within a group and to give members the knowledge that will help them become leaders within their own groups. The leader of the course is the Dean of Wellington (the Very Rev. W. Hurst). The other five staff members are the Rev. K. Jago (Melbourne), ‘ the Rev. H. Dryburgh (Wellington), Miss M. Brown (Waikato), the Rev. J. Vincent and the Rev. M. Wendelbom (Christchurch). Five of the staff are Anglicans. The Anglican Church organised its first group life laboratory five years ago.
The course, which began on Monday, will finish on August 13. Those attending include six women who are Christian education leaders In their own parishes.
