Board Gives Approval The Education Department has approved the following projects in Canterbury Education Board schools:— Weedons, rebuilding twoclassroom school; Ashley, rebuilding two-classroom school: Haast, additional land: Arthur’s Pass, lease railway land for residence site: Seadown. disposal of old school building; Tawai, disposal of part odd school site: Hawarden D.H.S., remodelling manual training centre; View Hill, disposal old school building; Seadown, site development; Culverden D.H.S., car garage for woodwork teacher’s residence; Kirkwood Intermediate, paving entrance and part quadrangle; Banks Avenue, prefabricated classroom; Hoon Hay, prefabricated classroom.
