Girl Hurt In Collision
A cyclist, Miss C. M. McGrath, aged 17, of 66 Highsted road, suffered severe head injuries when she was involved in a collision with a car near the corner of Papanui road and Webb street last evening. Miss McGrath was unconscious when admitted to the Christchurch Hospital and was on the seriously-ill list late last night The accident happened about 7 p.m. The police later interviewed a motorist. He was arrested and will appear in the Magistrate’s Court today . The police would like to interview any witnesses of the accident.
