Bedding On Fire
A fire in bedding in a student’s room on the tiirid floor of Christchurch College late last night was put out by firemen from the Headquarters station. Three engines were sent to the college, on the corner, of Cashel street and Rollestnn avenue. The fire was put out with an extinguisher. The mattress and bedding were extensively damaged. The student returned to find his room filled with smoke. The main building at the college was evacuated.
