AIRCRAFT ASSEMBLY

Plant Near Gore (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. July 14. Plans for establishing a top-dressing aircraft assembly industry at Charlton airport, near Gore, were announced today by the secretary of a newly-formed company, Cropmaster (N.Z.), Ltd., Mr C. M. Kerens, of Invercargill. The company, which is an off-shoot of Southern Aviation, of Gore, will assemble and produce the Australian top-dressing aircraft the Cropmaster. Parts for the first aircraft will arrive at Bluff tomorrow on the cargo vessel Kaitoke and will be railed to Gore for assembly.
