Car Fails To Stop

Mr H. Noonan, aged 79. of Nazareth House, Brougham street, suffered hand and leg injuries and shock, when his bicycle was involved in a collision with a car at the corner of Wordsworth and Durham streets about 5 p.m. yesterday. The car did not stop. -Mr Noonan was assisted by factory workers going home, and later taken to the Christchurch Hospital. He was treated and discharged. The police are seeking witnesses of the accident. Any person who saw it is asked to get in touch with the Christchurch Central Police Station or the Sydenham police.
