VESSELS COLLIDE
(N. Z. P.A. -Reuter— Copyright) ■ SINGAPORE, July 13. The 13,520-ton French liner Cambodge and the 12,107-ton Shell Company tanker Krebsla were in collision today about three miles south of Singapore Island. First reports said both vessels were extensively damaged. Marine Department sources said the Cambodge was rocked by the impact of the collision, but no-one on board was injured. Both vessels were headed for Singapore when the collision occurred. The liner was fairly heavily damaged on the starboard side of the bow and will remain in Singapore for repairs for about a week.
Rocket Destroyed.— An Atlas-Agena space booster was destroyed when it veered off course shortly after launching yesterday, the Associated Press reported. The rocket was over the Pacific and no debris fell on land.—Vandenberg Air Force Base, July 13.
