IN PASSING
In his “Sunday Times,” London, column, Nicolas Tomalin (Heaven protect him) invited additions to a list of outrageous name puns he had compiled, and printed. Among the more than 3000 sent in by readers were: Kurt Rejoinder the rude German. Enosis Onions the knowledgeable Greek Cypriot Honour Spencer-Count —the female executive. Signor Namier the continental inventor of the dotted line. Les Ure—the Weekend Supplement Editor. Colin Sometime the half-hearted host. Albert Hehadfled—the boy on the burning deck. Ivor Goodmind ll—the aggressive dynast. Viscount de Change—the extravagant aristocrat.
