The astronauts Frank Borman and James Lovell have been named as the crew for the two-week Gemini space flight likely to be attempted towards the end of this year An announcement from the Manned Spacecraft Centre in Houston also named “space walker” Edward White and Michael Collins as the backup crew for the flight.
