Pope Paul May Attend Session (N Z. Press Assn —Copyright > NEW YORK, July 2. The Vatican’s United Nations' observer says that he expects Pope Paul VI to attend the next session of the United Nations General Assembly, starting in September, reports the Associated Press. Monsignor Alberto Giovannetti, the Holy See’s observer, said that it was premature to speculate on just when the Pope would arrive in New York or how long he would stay. He expressed the hope that the Pope could address the 114-nation assembly.
