ROTORUA. June 20. For the first time since the national championships were instituted in 1950, a Horowhenua four won the indoor bowling title at Rotorua on Saturday. In a dramatic match of changing fortunes. Mrs N. Brensell, Mrs R. Willers, R. Willers, and G. Brensell (skip), of Foxton Beaeh. beat A. Swaine. D. Fletcher. H. W. Oliver, and C. M. G. Kirk, of Ohauiti dub, Tauranga, 19-13.
