No Comment On Report

WELLINGTON. June 20.
The Attorney-General (Mr Hanan) said at the week-end that he had no comment to make on reports that the Government Legislative Committee was considering copying a Canadian move to use tax penalties to deter overseas ownership of the New Zealand press. Asked if the report was true, Mr Hanan said: “I have no comment to make.”
