Waitangi Day Holiday Urged

INVERCARGILL, June 20. A remit seeking the observance of Waitangi Day as a public holiday in place of anniversary days will be considered at the forthcoming national convention of Jaycees. An amended remit to this effect was passed at the OtagoSouthland regional conference o f Jaycees in Queenstown at the week-end.
