SECURITY AT CONFERENCE

Anti-Vietnam Protest

(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, June 12. The “Peace in Vietnam” movement is reported to be considering demonstrations against Mr Holyoake, the New Zealand Prime Minister, and Sir Robert Menzies, the Australian Prime Minister, during their stay in London for the Commonwealth Prime Ministers’ Conference. The movement objects to the New Zealand and Australian decision to support United States policy in Vietnam.

Viet Cong sympathisers have already booed the British Prime Minister in Downing Street. For the first time at a Prime Ministers’ Conference strict security arrangements are being taken to guard the delegations.
